Cassidy Houston: Raised on the shores of Gitchi Gami, Northern Ontario singer-songwriter Cassidy Houston crafts music shaped by the land they call home — ever-changing yet resilient. Rooted in Métis traditions and queer self-discovery, their songwriting explores love, loss, identity, and becoming.Drawing influences from the likes of Sheryl Crow, Florence Welch, and Stevie Nicks, Cassidy’s songs feel intimate yet expansive.
Their sophomore EP, red flag flowers (Spring 2026), recorded in Thunder Bay alongside fellow Northern Ontario collaborators – exploring love, heartbreak, and the quiet resilience of growth, mirroring Northern Ontario’s landscapes and the beauty of becoming again.
Magic Machine: Ottawa’s Magic Machine is everything you ever wanted. This indie folk rock/musical theatre outfit is a sweet mix of folk and southern twang featuring beautiful vocals, bouncy rhythms, big happy harmonies, and the occasional rain stick interlude.
We create surprisingly hummable, temptingly strummable original tunes composed and performed in a manner that it is certain to make you smile.
New EP is coming in 2026!
